Leadership / Managerial: Proactively mentor and support my team to deliver simultaneous solutions for an array of different projects. Projects range from simple one page flier to designing and developing a CMS for our corporate website. Collaborating with my team and other departments to facilitate organizational goals. Oversee participation with venders to keep projects on task, on budget and on schedule.

Brand Management: Re-imagined the NACDS Foundations brand based on a new set of directives. Created the logo as a timeless mark that can stand on it’s own or accompanied with the name text. Supporting the logo with a color scheme that creates dimension and gives enough variety to support the various needs of a website hierarchy. Using color and style to create consistency across all collateral supported by a custom built online responsive style guide.

Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and foster new content to be applied across multiple communications channels. Creative content lives seamlessly with a project or our brand as it evolves in new ways based on the progression of technology advancements.

Research & Development: Spearheading the task of researching, learning and implementing new technology to better serve our members and industry to ensure a competitive advantage. Integrate new techniques to streamline the in-house work flow in an effort to maximize task efficiency and man power.

Digital Designer. January 2011 – March 2015

Designer / Developer: of responsive and modular websites. Usable, modular and responsive websites & web applications to support the goals of our initiatives. Introduced mobile and responsive websites to the organization to stay relevant in the association world. From start to finish I spearheaded a custom build CMS driven event schedule to be maintained on a daily basis by the meetings department. Additionally I created graphics for stage back drops, video and print material.

Photography: Utilized the skills I learned from a life-long hobby to tell help tell stories, create engaging marketing pieces and document high profile people & events.

Interface Multimedia
April 2007 – March 2009

Interactive Designer.

Successfully coordinated and executed interactive design projects from concept through completion. Worked closely with the largest residential and commercial builders in the metro area to provide marketing assets for their new properties. Projects included, flash animations & interactive maps for websites and touch screen kiosks, website design, front-end HTML development, email marketing and logo design. The highlight of my time at Interface Multimedia was designing websites for HGTV’s Dream Home and Clark Construction.

Typical late night life style of a freelancer focusing on designing logos, business cards, social media pages, and wordpress websites. I worked onsite at NACDS  from 2009 – 2010 before I was brought on as a full time employee in 2011.
